- Born in Hokkaido in 1973. Graduated from Fine Arts and Design College, Textile and Dyeing Department of Tama University. She has been working in Issey Miyake Company as a textile planning officer, and later went to Britain. And studied the Fashion and Textiles, Constructed Textiles Weave course in the Royal College of Art (RCA) in London. She established her own design studio – KAJIRA DESIGN STUDIO – in 2006, and develops garment materials in the country of origin and provides material proposals for fashion and interior decoration markets at home and abroad.
